Rosh Hashanah

ROSH HASHANAH

Sometimes I like the fact that I do not always remember things because when I realize my spirit was acting out before my head knowledge, I love it. As you know I said the other day I was singing the song by Heather Clark, Overcome/Baptize us in the Holy Spirit, Baptize us with Fire! Last night I am in my garage making the sounds of the shofar with my mouth. Releasing the sounds of the Lord and declaring Him God over all Gods! King over all Kings! Lord of Lords! Savior of all mankind! I knew Rosh Hashanah was coming up but one again I only remembered it is the Jewish New Year. Well to my wonderful surprise this morning I hear that it is the Blowing of the Trumpets and an offering is made by fire. Ok so do you get it? How awesome. Why do I forget this every year? This is one time I am glad I forgot. I love surprises and I love the newness of things. So today begins the ten days of Awe. Today begins the turning, the repenting of our sins. This is the fire we are crying out for in this time. To purify our hearts. Burn away the things that don't please you Lord! I am so excited as I write this.....Our spirit man is alive and well! Go to CBN.com and look up Rosh Hashanah, and it will thrill your soul as it did mine to know we are on God's timetable as we cry out with the sound of the trumpet blast and spend time being introspective and repenting before God!

The Pure in Heart

Heather Clark has an incredibly anointed cd, Lakeland II. One of the songs on that CD is, "Overcome." She says let the fire burn in me, for the pure in heart will see you Lord! I wake up very often singing this song. I believe this is the cry of my heart. I want to see you Lord! Give me clean hands and a pure heart. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God!

Not a Time for Hard Hearts

These are two scriptures that were speaking to me this morning. Today is the day to seek the Lord. Today is not the day to harden your hearts towards Him. Seek Him! Hear Him! Serve Him! Obey Him! Love Him!

Isa 55:6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

Heb 3:15 while it is said: "TODAY, IF YOU WILL HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS IN THE REBELLION."
