The excitement builds

Today was a really exciting day! It was full of all kinds of surprises. I found out about a couple of young people who are interested in doing a worship set at the House of Prayer that starts this Friday..You know when God is the one doing the stuff, you can just sit back and be amazed at His goodness and provision. When we are doing it, we can sure make a mess, with lots of stress! Lord, help us to lean on You, and not the arm of the flesh! Selah!

Thin Places

I am here in beautiful Colorado on our family vacation. There seems to be such a open heaven over this place. I haven't stopped dreaming since I arrived. I thought Lord what is it here that is not back at home. I was reading this book Punk Monk by Andy Freeman and Pete Greig and in one place he addresses what he calls "thin places". It caught my attention in a big way. I thought about the times that I have traveled in ministry and there just seemed to be an open heaven of revelation flowing. I want to contend for "thin places" over our city. I want to press into the Lord through worship and intercession until there is a open heaven over our area. It will be incredible to see the lost coming to the Lord because they have encountered the Lord as they are sleeping in the casino hotels and walking on the street. Lord let us contend for a open heaven in our own homes and our personal lives and then let's take the city for the Kingdom of God!
